Event Description
The PSFA Blisters for Bread Walks takes place on the 26th of August 2018 from Green Point Cricket Club. Distance options: 5km & 10km.
About PFSA
The Peninsula School Feeding Association was established in 1958 and is the beneficiary of this event. For over 50 years PSFA has been providing meals to hungry children in primary, secondary and special-needs schools as well as other educational institutions.
Route Description:
Both distances are easy, pleasant walks along South Africa’s most famous and scenic seaboards. From the Green Point Cricket Club the route takes you out along Fritz Sonnenberg Road and onto Beach Road in the direction of Mouille Point. Ah yes, the Sea Point promenade with the waves breaking and the cold Atlantic shimmering, this is a route to enjoy.
The five kilometre turning point is at Rocklands Beach, while those braving the longer walks carry on past Milton’s Swimming Pool and onwards to Saunders Rocks. This is the turning point if you intend walking 10 kilometres.

How to enter
For online entries click here. Entry forms can also be collected at PSFA’s offices situated at 26 Purdey Road, Sheffield Business Park in Philippi, the Top Events offices situated at 6 Koeberg Road, Maitland or at selective Pick n Pay and Sportsmans Warehouse stores in the greater Cape Town area. The closing date for group entries is July 29, manual entries August 5 and online entries August 19.
