Event Description

The Ntenga Foundation Charity Race is a fun charity run/walk event that takes place on June 16th, 2018 (Youth Day) from Moses Mabhida Stadium. Distance options: 5km & 10km.

To commemorate Youth Day, the Ntenga Foundation will be hosting its 4th annual charity run from Moses Mabhida Stadium at 7am, with the event ending at uShaka Marine World’s Wet ‘n Wild on Saturday, June 16th.

Distance & Entry Fee:

5km – R120

10km – R120

Temp licence: R20

Start Venue: Moses Mabhida Stadium, Isaiah Ntshangase Road, Durban

Finish Venue: uShaka Marine World, Durban

Start Time: 07H00

Discipline: Road Running

Runners will get:

  1.  T-shirt
  2. Medal upon finish
  3. Free entry at Ushaka Marine World Wet n’ Wild
  4. Ticket to the post-race concert at Ushaka Marine world pools

The programme of the day will run as follows:

7am – 5km & 10km run/walk starts at People’s Park, Moses Mabhida Stadium

9am – 5km & 10km run/walk finish at uShaka Marine World

9:15am – Mass aerobics marathon at uShaka Marine World’s Wet ‘n Wild pools

10am – Prize giving ceremony at uShaka Marine World Wet ‘n Wild pools

10:30am – Post race entertainment at uShaka Marine Wet ‘n Wild pools

The cost to enter the Ntenga Foundation Charity race is R120 per person.

Online entries close on Tuesday, June 13th at midnight, and manual entries close on Thursday, June 13th. All entrants will receive a race number, an Ntenga Foundation T-shirt, medal on completion of the race as well as 1x uShaka Marine World Wet ‘n Wild entrance ticket.

      You need not be a club member. You can purchase the temporary license for R20.
