Lonehill parkrun, Lonehill Boulevard, Lone Hill, Sandton

Website

Every Saturday at 8:00 am

This is a 2 lap clockwise course designed to keep plenty of wide running space to cater for the free-flow of the fast and slow.
The start of the course begins at the Lonehill Boulevard end of the park and follows 600M of the trail and paved paths SW between the dam and the nature reserve to the Crestwood Drive end. Here it u-turns NE for 250M to the back of the Lonehill Shopping Centre and bends left (NW) gently uphill for 550M up a wide bridle-path to another Crestwood Drive u-turn-point. Then it is back down-hill (SE) for 600M to the wooden bridge crossing the water-course and hugging the dam’s paved path for 500M all around the dam and over the second wooden bridge (the dam’s overflow/causeway) alongside the left bank of the spruit to the kiddies play-park area. Right over a third small wooden bridge to the start point of the second lap at the Lonehill Boulevard end of the park. The repeat the course for the 2nd lap.
